IMPORTANT NOTICE

Mathematics Test

Spanish Edition Only

May 10-12, 2005

On the Spanish edition only of the Grade 4 Mathematics Test, there is an omission in Book 2, Session 2, Question 37, Part A.

The “box” icon in which students are instructed to record their responses to this question did not print. Scorers are to award 1 score point for Question 37, Part A for all students who used the Spanish edition of this test, either exclusively or in conjunction with the English edition. These students are to be awarded 1 score point regardless of their response or lack thereof.

Question 37, Part B and all other test questions are to be scored according to the scoring materials provided by the Department.

Please photocopy this notice and deliver a copy to all locations where the Spanish edition of this test is being scored.
