| What
I'm doing now: I am a health physicist. I run the
Radiation Safety department at a medical school and research
institution. I am also one of two clarinetists in the Cortland
Chamber Orchestra, and play jazz in a vibes/clarinet duo.
Comments:
I have used both the technical and artistic skills I developed at the school throughout my entire
career. I attribute my ability to translate technically challenging
material into easy to understand bits in large part to the direction I
received.

| What
I'm doing now: Provide Computer Training and Consulting Services
specializing in design applications.
Comments:
It opened up the possibilities available-a big deal to a
female back then. However, NYSSSA's lessons in creativity &
"communicating the vision" have served me well, and allowed me
to realize that the only limits are the ones I set for myself.

Comments: Without the NYSSSA, I never would have been able to intially realize my
interest in the are of media arts, let alone pursue it throughout the
years to the present.
